Built by parents. For parents.

Understand how your kids use AI. Get the insights that matter, without the surveillance.

Why we built Halo Aware

AI chatbots took off fast. ChatGPT launched, and suddenly millions of kids were having daily conversations with AI about homework, crushes, anxieties, body image, and things they'd never say out loud.

As parents ourselves, we realized we had no visibility into these interactions. What were our kids asking? Were they getting helpful answers or harmful ones? Were they sharing things they wouldn't tell us?

Traditional parental control tools didn't help. They were built for blocking websites and tracking locations. None of them understood AI conversations. And the surveillance tools that did exist felt wrong. Reading every message your child types isn't parenting. It's spying.

We wanted something different: a way to stay informed without breaking trust. To know when something concerning happens without monitoring every innocent question about homework.

That's why we built Halo Aware.

Summaries over surveillance

Why we built it this way

Most monitoring tools give parents too much access. Full conversation logs. Every message. Every word.

We think that's wrong.

Children deserve privacy. You don't need to read every conversation. You just need to know enough to have real conversations with your kids when it matters.

We analyze, then discard

Your child's AI conversations are processed for topics and safety signals, then the raw text is deleted. We don't build a permanent record of everything they type.

Summaries, not transcripts

You see what topics they discussed this week, not word-for-word logs. "45% homework, 30% creative writing" tells you enough.

Context only when it matters

For genuine safety concerns, you get a brief snippet and an AI-generated summary. Enough to understand, not enough to spy.

The result: You stay informed. Your child keeps their privacy. And family trust stays intact.

What we believe

Transparency over secrecy

Your child knows Halo Aware is there. The extension shows its status clearly. Alerts lead to conversations, not confrontations. If you want to spy in secret, this isn't the tool for you.

Conversation over control

We're not trying to control what kids say to AI. We're trying to help you stay involved. Every alert includes a suggested way to start the conversation with your child. The goal is connection, not punishment.

Privacy by design

We collect as little as possible. We keep it for as short as possible. You can delete anything, anytime. Your family's information belongs to your family.
